What we keep, why we keep it, and what you can do about it.

Last updated 27 October 2026.

The short version

  • What you make is yours. We keep it so it works, and for nothing else.
  • We never sell anything about you, show ads, or use what you put here to train AI.
  • No tracking and no outside scripts. One cookie keeps you signed in.
  • Everything you make starts private, just you, until you share it.
  • You can keep a copy of everything, any time, and close your account whenever you like.

What we keep

  • Your email address, so you can sign in and get the emails you asked for.
  • Your @handle, any old ones (so old links keep working), and that you told us you're 14 or older.
  • What you make and what people add to it: titles, lists, gift ideas, who's taking part, and the history of every change, so nothing is lost by accident.
  • The names you give people when you share something with them, and their email addresses, so they can get in and so you can pick them again.
  • What you type in "What do you want to make?" when we can't make it yet, so we know what to build next.
  • If you joined the waitlist: your email and the idea you told us about.

Sign-in links and codes are kept only in a scrambled form that can't be turned back into the link or code, and they stop working after 15 minutes.

We don't have passwords, payment details, your location or your phone's contacts, and we don't ask for them.

Who can see it

Each thing you make starts as "just me". You choose who else can see it: people you pick, or anyone with the link. One thing's setting never changes another's.

When something is hidden from a person, it's never sent to their device at all, not even out of sight in the page.

People you share with see their names and what's been added. Only you, as the maker, see their email addresses.

In a Secret Santa, each person sees only who they're buying for. That's kept out of everyone else's pages, emails and copies.

The people who run wobblehaus can see your email, your @handle, the names of your things and who's in them, to help you and keep the site safe. Our admin pages don't show what's inside your things, and we don't look unless you ask us to or the law requires it.

Emails

We email you only when you need it: sign-in links and codes, invites when someone shares something with you, reminders for things you're part of (like a Secret Santa), and a note if your sign-in email changes. If you joined the waitlist, we'll write when there's a spot for you.

No newsletters, and no emails sent for anyone else.

When you reply "done" to a reminder, we read the first line you wrote to mark your gift bought. We don't keep the email.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in, for up to 30 days or until you sign out. If you open a thing through a shared link, a second cookie remembers that link for that one thing.

Neither follows you anywhere else. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no outside scripts on any page.

Who helps us run it

wobblehaus runs on Cloudflare: its computers store what you make and send our emails. Cloudflare keeps short-lived records of visits, like the address your device connects from, to keep the site working and safe from abuse. They're kept for a few days, then deleted.

Cloudflare runs computers in many countries, so your information may be stored or travel through countries other than yours.

Nobody else gets your information. When we add making things by describing them, what you type will go to an AI company to make it. We'll update this page and tell you before that starts, and we'll only work with companies that agree not to train on it.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is open. When you close it from Your account, your email, your @handle and the things you made are deleted straight away. Cloudflare's short-lived records of visits go after a few days.

What you added to things other people made, like gift ideas, stays with those things unless you ask us to remove it.

Waitlist emails are kept until you get a spot or ask us to take yours off.

Your choices

  • See and change your email and @handle on Your account.
  • Keep a copy of anything you're in, as a web page, a spreadsheet and a data file.
  • Forget people on your list, or take them out of a thing.
  • Close your account, from Your account, whenever you like.
  • Ask us what we hold about you, to fix it, or to delete it, by writing to hello@wobblehaus.com. We answer within 30 days.

Age

wobblehaus is for people 14 and older for now. If you think someone younger has an account, tell us and we'll close it.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we'll email everyone with an account before it takes effect.
